I’m a Visual Effects Supervisor, VFX Artist, Filmmaker and trainer. I’ve been in the industry for around 7 years working on commercials, feature films, and music videos. In the past few years, I worked on a documentary that required complex invisible VFX. This film went on to win the Grand Jury Prize at the Sundance Film Festival in 2014. I recently finished working on a feature film (One & Two) as the VFX Supervisor, Lead Compositor, and Lead 3D Generalist. This film had its world premiere at Berlinale and had its U.S. premiere at SXSW. The film, One & Two got picked up for distribution by IFC Midnight. My work has been featured in a variety of places such as Vanity Fair, 3D World Magazine, Nerdist, Studiodaily,MAXON, Its Art Mag, Post Magazine, and Digital Production Magazine. I have a B.A. degree in Digital Cinema and a passion for storytelling.
I also believe in giving back to others. I create tutorials online with the hope of spreading knowledge and I have traveled to speak at conferences such as SIGGRAPH and NAB. I presented for MAXON Cinema 4D at SIGGRAPH in Vancouver last year and you can see a recording of one of my presentations here.

We had some practical fire on set but it wasn’t enough so I added digital fire with TFD and also had the DP shoot some practical elements for me to layer in as well. Read more →
This was one of the projects I talked about during my SIGGRAPH presentation for MAXON. This is a shot I created while beta testing R14. I used the new camera calibration tag, motion camera, normalizer shader and aerodynamics. I also modeled and textured (bodypaint) a trashcan for the scene and rendered some TFD dust coming out of it. Also, you can find a similar project I made in the R14 Content Browser. Read more →
Here’s a test I made using Projection Man to aid in camera mapping, pose morph, dynamics and the new Physical Renderer including DOF and Motion Blur.
